Medical Aesthetics Training With THMA Consulting
We are proud to be providing clinical training through THMA Consulting. Highly recognized and respected throughout the industry, THMA Consulting is a CNA accredited national training centre for aspiring and advanced injectors. Gina Maalouf, Principle/Nurse Injector at Omorphi Aesthetics, is training and mentoring for a range of courses.
THE ART AND SCIENCE LIP ENHANCEMENT WORKSHOP
Gina is the lead trainer for the Art and Science Lip Enhancement workshop. The Art and Science Lip Enhancement Workshop training will focus on the importance of building a strong foundation with every patient. This helps each clinician to find the best option for their face, especially when it comes to lip enhancement.
All students will have access to 1:1 training with Gina. Engaging, hands-on and innovative, Gina is committed to teaching different kinds of injection techniques that will best fit your clients.
The main areas of focus include:
In-depth understanding of perioral anatomy
Assessment skills for safe effective procedures
Advanced Injection techniques for best practice outcomes
Treatment protocols and patient precautions
Potential adverse events and how to reduce risks
FOUNDATIONS PRACTICAL SKILLS COURSE
Gina is the assistant trainer for the 4B Practical Skills and Hands-On Training Foundations Course. Through this course, students will be provided with hands-on training with:
Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, such as Juvederm®, Restylane® and Revanesse®
Neurotoxin products, such as Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin®
Injection techniques, the effectiveness of aesthetics and safety procedures
Botulinum toxin A treatment areas, including peri-oribital lines, glabella and more
Hyaluronic acid treatment areas, such as malar augmentation, lip enhancements, upper and lower face rejuvenation or enhancement
1:1 Mentoring Opportunities
Gina also proudly offers students helpful 1:1 mentoring opportunities. Mentoring is available to those who have taken any THMA course at $150/hour, and $250/hour for those who haven’t taken a course, plus the cost of products. Mentoring provides an exceptional approach to personalized, dedicated and in-depth training.
ABOUT THMA CONSULTING
MEDICAL AESTHETICS TRAINING IN THE GTA.
Established in 2016, the THMA Consulting Program provides aspiring medical aesthetic practitioners with premier training, dedicated mentoring and access to exclusive educational events. Their mission is to provide healthcare professionals with a comprehensive approach to medical aesthetics training that offers a balance of in-depth knowledge, expert skills and long-term mentoring.
With the right approach, nurses and physicians can develop safe, successful and ethical medical aesthetic practices.
NON-MEMBER MENTORING
This two-day workshop is for injectors who have not trained with THMA and have either found their training inadequate or cannot access follow-up mentoring in order to hone skills. The full mentoring package for non-THMA members will include the 4-hour virtual training Foundation Course 1: Facial Anatomy to provide the injectors with essential information on muscles, blood vessels, nerves and bony structures. 4 hour Business Ethics and professional standards and the hands on one on one mentoring with me. Here is the break down of the Mentorship Program:
· Part 1 - Facial Anatomy Course through interactive Zoom 4 hours
· Part 2- Business Ethics and Professional Standards through interacticve Zoom 4 hours
· Part 3- A review the facial anatomy, practicing injection techniques, understanding how to perform a concise medical history, facial assessment and formulating your treatment plan. In-person injecting of your selected models. You will be responsible for the medical history, facial assessment, treatment plan for neuromodulators and dermal fillers, and explaining the post instructions - as if you are in your own practice.
· Once your course is completed, you can continue mentoring with the trainers at the clinic until you find a place of employment and are comfortable to inject on your own. We do not want you to lose your skills before finding work. You can also sit in on the virtual Facial Anatomy Course as a refresher at no additional cost to you. That is our commitment to your continuing education.
HONE SKILLS, GAIN CONFIDENCE
That fundamental facial knowledge, and the guide and resources that are included in the virtual course, will prepare associates to work directly with a THMA clinical trainer on assessments and techniques. The follow-up full day of mentoring will have participants doing various treatments on as many patients as desired for up to 6 hours. THMA will provide 4 syringes of filler and one vial of neurotoxin (Botox, for example). Participants will pay for any product beyond that.
Completion of the Associate Members Mentoring workshop will gain full THMA membership status and access to continuous education, ongoing support and more benefits.

ABOUT GINA MAALOUF
Gina has worked in the healthcare industry for 25+ years, with experience in the ICU at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and PACU RN at St. Mike’s and Lakeridge Health in Oshawa. She is now the Principle/Nurse Injector at Omorphi Aesthetics and dedicates her free time to providing training, education and mentorship.
She has been a clinical trainer with THMA Consulting since September of 2022. With her, she brings a calm approach and strong commitment to encouraging, supporting and educating her students.
